What is a Birth doula?
A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to their client before, during and shortly after childbirth to help them achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible. However, they are not to be confused with a medical professional, such things must be handled by your provider that you so choose in your journey.

So, What are the benefits of a Doula?
Mama, we are glad you asked! No matter what type of birth you plan, we provide...
physical support
We are here to "Mother the Mother"
It is an honor to be of service to mothers in this sacred time. During labor and childbirth, doulas provide comfort, familiarity, and a calming presence. Not overtaking the role of your support partner(s), we are also more than happy to coach them on comfort measures, labor positioning, and so much more to ensure that mama is properly loved on and taken care of when she needs it most.
emotional support
Peace of mind. Reduced stress and anxiety.
Having a space where you feel safe and at peace during this precious and transformative time in your life is one of the most important elements of this journey. Doulas are here to focus on your(even your support team's/family's) well-being to ensure that your experience is positive and memorable.
